Chapter 12x: Dandelion
You can see each enemy’s inventory by placing the cursor over his image on the map. This is an optional chapter: • Items/Villages/Treasure: • New units: • Enemy reinforcements: • Special Event: • General Strategy: Among the units that I recommend for this chapter are two thieves, Saphy (these three are extremely important if you want to complete the mission successfully), in addition to a unit with good magic and a mage like Asvel (hopefully promoted). Don't bring unique or valuable weapons because if your magic is less than 3 (remember you can increase your magic with Pure Waters), Tina will steal your items, the priest who's next to the boss, and is better to not make her use the Thief staff if you want to recruit her. Salem, the dark-magic mage, is your new friend (and actually, all the important enemies in this chapter are people you can recruit, too); and if he didn't spend all its uses, you can use the Sleep staff to buy some time by sending some of the bandits to sleep. About the other enemies… well, like I said, there's a priest named Tina who's very annoying. Also there's a swordfighter named Trewd, who's in Parn's service; this guy is near one of the dancers and isn't that big of a deal but ideally you'd just capture him so he can't bother you, since recruiting him the other way is difficult. And last is Parn, boss of the bandits… if you use Lara to recruit him, she'll automatically promote to a dancer, which is something I recommend. After Turn 10, enemy reinforcements will begin to appear from the stairs, and that's why you need to complete the chapter pretty quickly. If you kill or recruit Parn, the enemies will start to flee. Before you take the throne, make sure you've gotten most of the stuff in the chests, captured Trewd and recruited Tina. Afterward, just complete the mission.
If you kill or recruit Parn, the enemies will begin to flee. If you want to avoid going through the mess that I've described above, and have and can use the Warp Staff, just: - Give Lara a Lockpick or a Door Key. As soon as all that's done, the map will start to be free of enemies and none of your units' items will have been stolen. The Lockpick/Door Key is in that list because otherwise, Lara and Parn will be trapped inside the throne room, and the ideal situation is to have them helping you steal items from the chests so you can finish the chapter more quickly. Another problem with this strategy is that Trewd also runs away… the only thing left is to send someone over with the Warp Staff to capture him. If you do use the Warp Staff to capture him, make sure you send over a strong unit with a Brave weapon (with at least 10 BLD and 16 SPD so you can attack twice). You can also just use the Sleep staff. By the way, the King Sword is a really valuable weapon. It grants the Charisma skill (+10 accuracy and avoid to all units within a three tile radius), which, when combined with supports and other units with the Charisma skill, makes it possible to complete with ease some of the toughest parts of the game. Try to use it mainly with that purpose in mind, and make sure to give it to a unit usually positioned on the front lines, like Leaf. Go to Fire Emblem Thracia 776 section |
