This is Dagdar's house, and his bandits' headquarters. Due to the scarcity of resources in the area, Gomez, the guy in charge of all this, started some sort of revolt to put an end to his problems with Dagdar. This chapter is short, but really annoying, and not just because it's a fog of war chapter. Which it is, and that's why I told you to buy torches last chapter. The enemies look easy, but most have either long-distance or poison weapons. So when you prepare, choose your units well, and make sure you bring some antidotes and torches.

The chests contain excellent items, from a Leg Ring (which increases movement by 2) and a Wrath manual, (which teaches Wrath, the skill that Othin has) to the Neir scroll, which will raise growth rates for some of your stats. It's also important that you save Dagdar and Tanya, who are trapped in a narrow hallway. Make sure you put Tanya behind Dagdar, so that the enemies can only attack her once (she can dodge, but if she doesn't, she'll probably just be captured). Bring some Physic ("Reblow" or "Libro") staves so that your group's staff-wielder can heal them from far away.

After opening all the chests, the only thing that's left is to capture the throne. I don't need to explain the rest. Good luck.

I'd be lying if I told you this boss was easy because really, he's not. To begin with, he has good strength and avoid, and on top of that he gains a defense boost by sitting on the throne. In fact, he could kill you with 2 hits if you're not careful. I recommend attacking him from a distance with Leaf's magic sword, or with Othin's Pugi axe, which has a good chance of landing a critical hit. You could also try using Asvel and his Grafcalibur, assuming Asvel has enough health to survive a counterattack. And don't worry about capturing Gomez; it's too difficult. I recommend keeping at least two empty floor tiles between Gomez and your units while you're clearing out the enemies in the boss's area. If you don't, then you'll have to worry about surviving an attack from Gomez in addition to the attacks by the regular enemies.
