Final Chapter: An Undying Oath Main objective: Take the throne
You can see each enemy’s inventory by placing the cursor over his image on the map. (The purple floor tiles give +10 magic to all of your units and enemy units, and there are 3 of such tiles underneath each of the 3 enemies below Veld. • Enemy reinforcements: • General Strategy: During preparations, use your absolute best items, and if you're running into problems trying to distribute your items evenly among all of your units, look where they appear and make sure that none of your groups is weak, and give items or characters to those groups that need them the most. It needs to be said that the areas inside each of the six towers increase magic by 10. For you and the enemies… and you can use this to your advantage. That extra magic boost will allow you to use staves on units that you would otherwise not be able to attack, especially if you include the bonus from Holy Waters, which will push your magic well past the normal limit (+17). Of course, just to be sure, make sure you kill the nearby enemies so they don't bother you. Strangely enough, the faces of the "sub-bosses" can vary depending on if some units weren't recruited or if they die during the game,
"Eins" always appears (and is still pretty weak in the presence of the Blaggi Sword) and the others will have the sprites of common enemies if your units' faces aren't there. But Funf appears as a Sniper and not a Swordmaster… pretty strange, huh? Other than that, make sure you block at all costs the tiles where the reinforcements appear because they're really annoying, and they will not stop appearing until you open the main room. You can do this at the beginning of the chapter in order to be able to conquer the altars much more calmly, though if you manage to effectively outfit your units it would be best to focus your attention on the towers. And once the central door is open, focus your best offensive units against Veld and the mages that are inside.
For a final boss, he leaves a lot to be desired. He's not a very powerful enemy, except that he can petrify your units with his "Stone" spell (like what happened to Eyvel earlier in the game). This spell attacks from long distances (3-10 squares) and he has it equipped, so you can kill him immediately after opening the room by warping someone to that place, having previously killed one of the enemies next to him with long-ranged spells or with another warped unit. And with units like Mareeta, Galzus, and Sety at your disposal, he won't be that hard. And well, you can also capture him if you want. If you used Warp to kill him, is obvious that you have to bring a second one to warp Leaf to the throne. Afterward, conquer the throne peacefully and that's it! You've reached the conclusion of the story and also have saved northern Thracia from the influence of the Lopto Church. CONGRATULATIONS!
