Chapter 2: The Princess of Bern

• Strategy for normal mode:
Send Marcus or Merlinus to visit the village at north and to buy more weapons (mostly Swords and Spears, but if you want to use Lot and Ward you must need some axes, though they aren't very useful) and vulneraries. Dieck will appear in the 2nd turn with Thany, Lot and Ward.
Use the weapon triangle for easy battles. Attack the soldiers with Axes and the Fighters with sword users. It’s pretty easy but be careful, don’t send Dieck or his group quickly against the big group of enemies. Just wait for them in the Fortress near the beginning and attack them slowly. Also there are two archers and Thany will be dead if just one of them attacks her.
The Boss is fairly easy. Dieck can handle it using the Armourslayer (is a very good character, use him), or Roy with his Rapier or using the Armourslayer, or else use Lot or Ward with a Hammer.

• Strategy for Hard mode:
If you went through the first one, you sure can handle this. First, kill the nearby soldiers and put a defense on the way, where the fortress is. Go killing the enemies little by little. Marcus will be helpful too, but don´t use him too much besides damaging the enemies a little with your basic weapons (iron sword...) so you can kill them with your other characters, because the experience can be really useful on the next chapters.
Then in turn 2, move Dieck and the others towards Roy's group, which is the simplest way. Although they can also hold the upper enemies themselves, just don't risk them too much if you want to go by this quick way, try to heal hem if they get at least one hit.
In hard mode the boss is a little more complicated. You can use Marcus to do some damage and then kill him with another character.
