Chapter 5: Beyond the Borders

Chapter's objective: Kill all enemies

• Strategy:
The game force us to talk to a new character, so move Lyn next to Serra and talk to her, she will join us along with Erk, a mage. Now we are taught about healing staves and magic by using these two newly acquired units.

After that, we go straight to the strategy for this chapter. Lets move Sain and Kent to the upper path (don’t forget about the weapon triangle), and the rest of your units through the path that’s covered in forest and goes between the mountains (if you place a unit on a mountain it gains more “avoid” than what it gets from a forest or a fortress). On the other side of these forests there’s a mercenary that won’t be hard to kill with Lyn and some ranged support, you can also use Florina if she has been gaining some levels. On the upper path you will find a brigand a mercenary and an archer; there is also an armory where you can buy ranged weapons.

This boss is also a brigand so you’ll have no problem if you use Lyn with her Mani Katti, Erk and Wil can also be of help.
