Chapter 7x: The Black Shadow

- Turn 3: A Soldier from the stairs next to your initial position.
- Turn 4: A Mage and a Shaman from the stairs next to the boss.
• Strategy:
This mission is not that hard, and is optional which means that it doesn't matter much if you don’t get it. One thing you should notice is that chest on the left side of the map, to get it’s content you can do a couple of things: one is to move Sain and destroy the wall with him (he is more likely to gain more strength with a few levels so it would be faster to destroy the wall with him) and then get the chest with Matthew, there’s an archer inside that Wil or any magic unit can kill; or you can just break the wall wait for the enemy thief to loot the chest and then use a lance user to kill him.
Moving onto the actual mission, through the rightmost corridor there is only a cavalier that is no threat to one of your cavaliers. Inside that square room with the stairs there is a soldier and a mage that any ranged unit can take care of (on the third enemy turn another soldier will show up from the stairs). On the left side corridor use Lyn with some ranged backup. To the north there’re just two mercenaries and the reinforcements that come from the boss’ room, they should not be a problem if you use the weapon triangle to your advantage.

Best tactics against this boss is to use either lances or magic since he’s got a really low resistance.
