• New characters:
- None.

• Strategy:
From here on, the hardest battles will begin, use your top arsenal to emerge victorious. You may also add L´arachel or Natasha on your team (equipped with a Torch staff), also Colm or Rennac with the member and silver cards for the secret shop (the spot with a white square in the image). Myrrh is also a good option because of her high defence, but before that equip her with the Fili shield, so she won´t get extra damage from arrows.
Block the entrances to the main chamber, the upper and lower with your best units, since you will be getting repeated attacks and surprises on every turn. When you defeat this horde of enemies, go get Riev and finish this mission as soon as possible. Although it is possible to win earlier, you would have to employ your characters with great movement and range attacks to get near Riev.

Or even better, try this; put a defence on every entrance, then move a staff wielder (with at least 12 magic and level A in staves) with a warp staff (which you should have obtained at Chapter 15) and place it as far to southwest as you can without leaving the castle, about 6 or 7 spaces above from Riev. In the next turn transport a strong unit next to Riev to kill him, like a swordmaster or a berserker, and if you are lucky you will finish the mission.
But remember that to transport a unit, the spot must be illuminated, for this put a thief with torches close to your magician or use the staff with the same name. You can take your time if you want to take all the treasures and rewards, as you can do this some turns later. If you don´t have the Warp staff, the best thing to do is fending off the enemies for the 13 turns, defend the hallways and trying to move forward if you have good characters.

Boss Data Items

Riev
Bishop of level 16
"A heretic and general in Grado's army. He's also known as Blood Beryl."
- Aura
HP Str Skl Spd Lck Def Res Con
Stats 49 14 21 19 9 16 18 7

Riev is not a boss to be afraid of, but keep an eye as he is quite fast. Aura possess a respectable critical percentage so don´t underestimate this boss. You may send Ephraim or some other unit with high HP, speed and pure waters to defeat him without much trouble.

To finish your passing here, do as you are advised in the end: buy supplies such as vulnerary, elixirs, and weapons. For, as you should know, once you begin next battle and save while preparing yourself, you won´t be able to come back, even after finishing it. Go to the shop list. Although everything you might seek is sold at Rausten, there are a few items not found here. Specially if you don´t have a lot of money, as silver weaponry is not that necessary: steel weapons, or even iron, should suffice.
